At the end of 2008, due to all the government rebates on private health insurance, the rising costs of insurance and after a survey of the current teams, CitySide Sports decided to stop providing Accidental Injury Insurance.

As a result, instead of putting our registration fees up even higher to match the rate the insurance policies were going up - we dropped our fees by 300%, down to $35 per team.

It is a requirement that all Captains inform their players that we do not provide insurance and that we advise seeking private health insurance before playing.

CitySide Sports do have recommendations for teams to get their own insurance to cover their team for the season with other parties. Please contact our office for information.

We do have Public Liability Insurance.
