The following by-laws are the governing rules of our social netball competition. The onus is on the players, particularly Captains of teams to keep up to date on the by-laws. CitySide Sports commits to giving public notification of any changes to these by-laws on their website, Facebook page and via email to Captains. The most recent date the by-laws were updated can be found to the left of these guidelines along with a summary of the changes made.
In the interest of social netball, if during a game an offending player who is penalised for contact or obstruction and is required to stand out of play goes to retrieve the ball, the player taking the penalty must wait for the player to return before taking the penalty. INFRINGEMENT: None. Umpire will set penalty. *Note: The player who retrieves the ball must obey the delay rule and make an effort to return in a timely manner.

As of Summer 19/20, the competition format has changed. Beach Volleyball is now played in an Open Gender format. There is no requirement of the amount of male or female players.
