VOLLEYBALL: PAYMENT POLICY
Minimum Pays For Shifts

Volleyball Staff (Referees, Trainers, Trainees, Supervisors, Duty Managers) shall receive a minimum pay of three games per shift within the below guidelines.

Staff shall be due NO game payment when:

• REFEREES: Are notified by CitySide Sports, at least 45-minutes before their first game that the game has been cancelled, regardless if they have arrived or not.
• DUTY MANAGERS / SUPERVISORS: They have been notified at least 60-minutes before their first game, regardless if they have arrived or not.

Staff shall be paid for ONE game only if the night is cancelled prior to their second game starting.

Once their second game has started, staff shall be entitled to at least the minimum pay of THREE games with the exception of the below conditions.

Staff will not be entitled to their minimum game pay if:

• A night is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, power outage etc) and one full game has not been completed - one game fee shall be paid.
• The staff member is already coming to the night and venue for non-work related matters (e.g. Playing), and shall be paid for the games they work (As the staff member was not required to travel specifically to the venue for their shift).
• The staff member is unable to complete their rostered shift.

FORFEITS:

Staff shall be paid for a forfeit when it is their first game of the night under the same 45-min/60-min conditions as above in this policy.

Staff shall be paid a full game for any forfeit that occurs on their court during the night, apart from their last game of the night (but still paid three game minimum).
