We have two ways an individual can play netball with CitySide Sports. You can sign up for a team, or if you cannot commit to a team full time - you can use our SMS Filler Service. Read below for details:

CitySide Sports have created it's own Clubs specifically designed for individuals. City-Metro, which plays at Clifton Hill and SthEast-Metro at Richmond.

Individuals sign up through our website to join a team and based on their preferences we either slot them into a team that requires a player or we create a new team if there are enough players.

Between the two clubs we have over 20 teams and the service is very popular.

Each player is invoiced individually, where you pay a discounted rate upfront for the season - and if ever you cannot play, we arrange a fill in to play for free.

This is a great way to meet new friends. Some of our teams were put together 3 years ago - and are still playing together now; having formed strong friendships.

At the bottom of this website you will notice a section titled "Fill In Players Required". Whenever a team requires a fill in, they can request a replacement player through our website and this will show up in this section. Individuals can sign up for the service using their mobile number and choosing your preferences of game standard, nights, venues and ladies or mixed. When a team that matches your preferences needs a fill in, you will be SMS'd on that day to inform you. You can then come to this website and offer your services.

A lot of teams when choosing to use this service, decide to cover the cost of the fill in player - meaning by signing up - you could in fact get regular games at your leisure - and not pay a cent!

The SMS Service is FREE! You will not be charged for an SMS. From time to time an SMS will include a small 70 character advertisement at the end of the message in order to help CitySide Sports with the costs associated with the service.
